While Film Programme Manager for the Dukes' cinema in Lancaster Lesley Anne was responsible for the organisation's monthly film programme and related events.  She developed a series of annual seasons including a Canadian Film Festival called True North, Strong and Free and a Bike Film Festival in conjunction with Lancaster's status as Cycle Demonstration Town.  She also organised regular World Cinema Nights and a series of one off seasons on topics including Silent Cinema, Politics & Film, Animation and Women & Film.  These seasons were supported by a programme of education events.  During her time at the Dukes she over saw the cinema's inclusion into the UK Film Council's Digital Screen Network, secured annual core funding from North West Vision and obtained project funding from various funding bodies for one off projects.
