Screenwriting and Script Development
Lesley Anne was funded by North West Vision, a Regional Screen Agency of the UK Film Council, to attend Phil Parker's Introduction to Screenwriting – Training the Trainers course. This course covered all aspects of screenwriting, from the development of ideas to selling screen plays. She is now qualified to teach this course and undertake freelance script development work.

| Lesley Anne is an experienced playwright. Her first full length stage play Home Fires was commissioned and produced by the Dukes theatre in Lancaster. Details, photographs and reviews of this production can be found here. Other commissions include a short script for Word Market, a literature festival in South Cumbria. Lesley Anne gained experience writing, filming and editing short films while at university and made a short documentary on the cross sands walk over Morecambe Bay for the British Universities Film and Video Council. She also completed footage for a film on the Pendle Witches for the same organisation. She was funded to train in screen writing with Phil Parker and is now qualified to teach his Introduction to Screen Writing course, details of which can be found here, and undertake freelance script development work. |
